This cake is very special to me...it's my mom's recipe hence the name Mardelle. The recipe hasn't changed for over 50 years . Same ingredients, same taste, same LOVE. My Mom used to make this cake during the holidays when I was a kid so I'm just making it a habit of making it myself. Making it a tradition. Making it my legacy.
